Constructions increased in 2004 by 8.9%. In 2004 this sector represented
43.2% of the total investments, by 9.0 per cent points over the level recorded in 2001
(34.2%).
The
value of construction works increased by 9.8% in 2005, as against 2004.
In
2005 the value of construction works increased in each quarter. During the last quarter of
the year it recorded RON 9173,4 billion, by 16.7% more than in the same period of the
previous year.
In
the last quarter of 2005 the construction works from the private sector represented 92.7%
of the total.
In
December 2005, 3,942 authorizations for residential buildings were released.
The
volume indices of construction works in 2005
Value of
construction works in the first quarter of 2006 was RON 4358.3 million, increasing by
20.7% as against the same period of the previous year.
New
construction works amounting to RON 2587.2 million represented 59.3% of total
construction.
Capital repairs
works accounted for RON 560.7 million (12.9% of total construction works), while
maintenance and current repairs works, carried out in existent buildings and construction
represented 27.8%.
Value of
construction works increased, in April 2006 by 9.8% as against the same month of 2005.
In the first
quarter of 2006, 6980 construction permits were released for residential buildings, of
which, those for one dwelling residential buildings represented 97.9% as against total.
Residential buildings, for which construction permits were released, have, according to
the projects, 9344 dwellings, of 1396.7 thousand square meters useful area.
In April 2006,
3144 permits for residential buildings were released.
Value of construction
works increased during 1.I.-31.V.2006 by 15.8% as against the same period of 2005 and
by 11.8% in May 2006 as against May 2005.
4700
residential buildings permits were released in May 2006.
In 2005 the
number of new dwellings ready was 32868, by 9,1% more than in 2004. Under construction
there were 89658 dwellings, out of which 14.4% with budgetary funds.
Number of
finished dwellings in the first quarter of 2006 was 4924, increasing by 763 as against the
same quarter of 2005. Out of budgetary funds, 216 dwellings were carried out.
Number of
dwellings finished from population funds in this period was by 991 dwellings higher than
in the first quarter of 2005, this category further holding the highest weight (90.3% of
total finished dwellings).
On March 31,
2006. 89560 dwellings were under various execution stages of construction works, 40.0% of
them were under advanced finalization stage.
Value of
construction works increased during 1.I.-31.V.2006 by 15.8% as against the same period of
2005 and by 11.8% in May 2006 as against May 2005. 4700 residential buildings permits were
released in May 2006.
Registering a
growth of about 20% (19.9%) in September 2006 as against the same month of the previous
year, construction works further keep a rapid rate during the whole period since the
beginning of the year, registering a certain growth trend (117.8 % in the first nine
months as against 117.3% in eight months).
During 1.I
– 30.IX.2006 it should be pointed out that a production rate higher than general
average was registered, by construction type, in engineering (122.5%) and by structure
elements in current repairs and maintenance works (122.7%) and in new construction
(117.5%).
During 1.I. -
30.IX.2006, 20730 dwellings were finished, by 2544 dwellings more than in the same period
of 2005. Most of finished dwellings, since the beginning of the year until September 30,
2006, were built from population funds (89.7% of total finished dwellings). On September
30, 2006, 100668 dwellings were under various execution stages of construction works, out
of which those from budgetary funds represented 11.8 %. Out of total dwellings under
various construction stages, 3.0% are finished and not received, 39.3% are under finishing
stage, 32.9% are under execution stage of structures, while 24.8 % of total represent work
to set the foundations.
Pointing out a
growth of 19.3% in October 2006 as against the same month of 2005, construction works
further keep an accelerated rate in the whole period since the beginning of the year, with
a slight growth trend (118.4 % for the first ten months as against 117.8% for the first
nine months).
During 1.I
– 31.X.2006, it should be mentioned that a production level higher than the general
average is registered, by construction type, for engineering construction (121.6%) and by
structure elements, for maintenance and current repairs works (125.4%) and for new
construction works (117.3%).
