- December/ December previous year -In December 2004 compared with previous year, the prices raise was due to the increase by 11.4% for non-food goods, and by 8.7% for service tariffs. Regarding the growth of service prices one can mention that beginning with August 2003 increased the tax for public radio broadcasting (+66.7%); the tariffs for natural gas (+22.5%) and electric energy (+17.5%) increased beginning with September 1st 2003. This point was entailing a certain growth of the inflation rate during the last months of the year, without generating inflationary expectations that could jeopardise the goal of reaching the target of one digit inflation for the year 2004. Also, the evolution of the food goods prices was under the inflation rate.
Industrial producer prices (for the domestic and international market) in 2004 growth by 19.1% compared with 2003, only 0.4 of a percentage point lower than a year earlier. Over this level was the producer prices recorded in manufacturing industry (by 0.2 percentage point) and in the energy and heating, natural gas and water sector (by 2.0 percentage point). Also, in the mining and quarrying sector the increase of the producer prices was under the total range (by 6.0 percentage point).

In June 2006, the increase in consumer prices as against the previous month was +0.15%.
To this contributed non-food goods by 0.19 percentage points and services by 0.14 percentage points.
The decrease of prices per total for food goods influenced the rate of inflation per total by -0.18 percentage points.
In the group of food products important growths were registered for fresh fruit (+6.0%), potatoes (+4.0%) and brandy, plum brandy and other alcoholic beverages (+2.0%).
The decrease of prices per total for food products (-0.5%) was influenced by lower prices in the group of vegetables and tinned vegetables (-5.2%), water (-4.7%), poultry (-2.3%), citric and exotic fruit (-1.8%), milk and dairy products (-1.0%).
The growth of prices by +0.5% for non-food goods was mainly determined by higher prices for tobacco, cigarettes by +3.1%. In the group of non-food goods, slight decreases of prices were registered for refrigerators, freezers, washing machines and medicines.
The growth of tariffs for services (+0.8%) was mainly influenced by the increase in the tariffs for rail transport (+2.7%), water, sewerage, sanitation (+1.6%) and phone (+1.4%).

In October 2006, consumer prices increased by 0.21% as against the previous month. This growth was determined by food goods by +0.02 percentage points, non-food goods by +0.03 percentage points and services by +0.16 percentage points.
The group of food products registered important growths for eggs (+11.0%), beans and other leguminous (+2.9%), citrus and other exotic fruit (+2,8%), milk and dairy products (+0.9%) and meat, meat products and tinned meat (+0.6%). In the group of food products, important decreases were registered for: potatoes (-12.5%), sugar (-2.1%), fresh fruit (-0.9%) and edible oil (-0.6%).
The growth of prices for non-food goods by +0.1% was mainly determined by the increase in prices for tobacco, cigarettes by +0.7%, for footwear by +0.6% and for clothing, haberdashery, hosiery and small ware by +0.4%. In the group of non-food goods, important decreases were registered for fuel (-0.8%), washing machines (-0.2%) and refrigerators and freezers (-0.2%).
The evolution of tariffs for services (+0.9%) was influenced by the increase in tariffs for cinemas, theatres, museums, expenditure for education and tourism (+2.9%), other services (+2.9%), rent (+2.0%), restaurants, coffee shops, canteens (+1.5%), water, sewage, sanitation (+1.0%) and urban transport (+0.8%).The increase in tariffs for the group other services by +2.9% is determined by higher tariffs for accommodation in university hostels.

November consumer price index (CPI),

In November 2006, consumer prices increased as against October by 1.09%. For this growth contributed food goods by +0.50 percentage points, non-food goods by +0.54 percentage points and services by +0.05 percentage points.
In the group of food products, important growths were registered for eggs (+23.5%), vegetables and tinned vegetables (+2.8%), fresh fruit (+2.0%), bread and loaf products (+1.7%) and for the group of milk and dairy products (+0.9%). For the group of food products, important decreases were registered for sugar (- 2,1%) and citric and other exotic fruit (-1.3%).
The growth with +1,2% of prices for non-food goods was mainly determined by higher prices for thermal energy (+17.5%) and gas (+5.7%). In the group of nonfood goods, decreases were registered for fuel (-1.3%).
Evolution of tariffs for services (+0.3%) was influenced by higher tariffs for rail transport (+7.8%), water, sewer, sanitation (+2.6%) and hygiene and cosmetics (+0.5%). Important decreases were registered for phone (-1.4%) and payment of accommodation in hotel units (-0.1%). Partial indices, calculated excluding from CPI certain components, are the following:
