In 2004 investment increased by 10.0% comparatively with previous year. Regarding the evolution of main sectors' components can be pointed out the following issues: construction increased by 7.8%; outfits (including transportation means) increased by 11.60%.

Investment achieved in the economy in the first quarter of 2006 amounted to RON 6,090.9 million, increasing in real term by 10.9% as against the first quarter of 2005.

Investments in the national economy during 1.I. - 30.IX.2006 registered a growth by 14.1% in comparison with the same period of the previous year. Investments in new construction works increased by 17,7 % and investments in transport equipment and means registered a growth of 9.6%, as against the same period of the previous year..
